Today blogging is a rapidly growing phenomenon. It provides a new medium, enabling specialized journalists, oenologists and enthusiastic amateurs to exchange information you don’t usually find in wine magazines and websites.

At the LOIRE VALLEY WINE FAIR we decided to turn the spotlight on this phenomenon, which affects 3.2 million people, and is having an increasing impact on the world of wine.

After the tremendous success of its inaugural edition last year, the Wine Blog Trophy is back. And the rules have changed...

Two awards are up for grabs :

• Award from the jury for the blogger that has best shared his/her passion for Loire Valley wines
• A second web users' award for the public's favourite wine blog
