Economic portrait of the Loire Valley's vineyards

The Loire Valley Wine Trade Fair and joint-trade organisations InterLoire and BIVC have commissioned Stéphane Bonetti, an engineer from the National Institute of Horticulture, to carry out a study on the vineyards' weight in the regional and national economy.

In addition to providing figures on the vineyards' production levels, the study will reveal new detailed facts and figures (employment, economic consequences, etc.).

The information will ultimately be used to compile a major monograph on the Loire Valley's vineyards.
