Created in 1987 by the Angers Exhibition Centre and the three Loire Valley Joint-Trade Organisations:
BIVC (Interprofessional Office of Wines in Central France), InterLoire (Joint-Trade Organisation of Loire Valley Wines) and CIVN (Interprofessional Board of Nantes Wines), the Loire Valley Wine Trade Fair has become one of Europe's key wine events.
Devoted to a single wine-producing region, the 3rd largest in France, this first professional event of the year in the wine-producing world will allow, for 3 days, for approximately 600 exhibitors and 9,000 French and foreign visitors to meet.
Loire Valley industry professionals fully appreciate the quality of contacts generated by the event, and the spotlight on their work, which has made the Loire Valley Wine Fair an essential business communications tool on the French and international markets for all of the wine growing region. Spearheading production in the region, the Loire Valley Wine Fair has kept pace with the vineyards, which have succeeded in innovating and surprising their customers.
The only European show dedicated to a single wine-growing region, the 2008 Loire Valley Wine Trade Fair is pursuing its role as a business and trade venue with an ambitious line-up, the guiding line behind which is based on a strong economic message, with the will to encourage and increasingly simplify trade exchanges between the sector's players.
