Created in 1987 by the Angers Exhibition Centre and the three Loire Valley Joint-Trade Organisations : BIVC (Interprofessional Office of Wines in Central France), InterLoire (Joint-Trade Organisation of Loire Valley Wines) and CIVN (Interprofessional Board of Nantes Wines), the Loire Valley Wine Trade Fair has become one of Europe's key wine events over the years.




Devoted to a single wine-producing region, the Loire Valley Trade Fair set out to be, since the beginning, a medium of communication and marketing for all Loire Valley Wines.
For 3 days, 600 exhibitors (viticulturists, wine merchants and co-operative wine cellars), will share their
enthusiasm with you and help you appreciate their new vintage.
Indeed, The Loire Valley Wine Trade Fair has not forgotten the distinctive character of an agricultural product that, every year, needs to be presented and explained. This close relationship with such vintage wines is an integral part of the show and represents one of the keys to its success among some 10,000 trade visitors.

Furthermore, although only wine producers from the Loire Valley may exhibit at the Loire Valley Wine Trade Fair, the show is marketed as an international exhibition, wholly confirmed by its overseas visitors representing 14.4%.


The only European show dedicated to a single wine-growing region, the 2008 Loire Valley Wine Trade Fair is pursuing its role as a business and trade venue with an ambitious line-up, the guiding line behind which is based on a strong economic message, with the will to encourage and increasingly simplify trade exchanges between the sector's players.
