The Loire Valley Competition for tasting the best
the Loire Valley has to offer!

Open to all Loire Valley producers, merchants and co-operative wine cellars, whether exhibitors or not. The Loire Valley Competition rewards the best Loire Valley wines.

The jury tasting takes place each year on the Sunday preceding the Trade Fair - for this 22st year, on Sunday, February 3 – so that the list of the winners is available when the Trade Fair opens.

The results of the Competition will be published on this website that evening and announced on Monday, February 4, the day the Trade Fair opens.

Free Wine Tasting : Everyone is welcome!

First started at the 2003 Loire Valley Wine Trade Fair, the Tasting Corner became, in 2004, the Loire Valley Palace.

All the Loire Valley Wines that won the Gold medal in the Loire Valley Competition and are present at the Trade Fair are free for the tasting.

Inside the Loire Valley Palace, situated at the entrance of the Grand Palais building and open every day starting Monday, February 4 at 2 p.m., each visitor is welcome to taste the wine of his choice accompanied by a brief information sheet and the placement of the grower's stand at the Trade Fair.

We’d like to extend an open invitation to all visitors to the show. This space was specifically designed to enable you to discover the best of the Val de Loire and to select your favourites among the wines, which are on display on the exhibition stands.
