In parallel with the Salon des Vins de Loire, and during a week of exceptional events, all the players on the Angers food scene roll up their sleeves and don their aprons, to give meaning to their food, support local agricultural professionals and, of course, enjoy themselves.

During this culinary festival, they all make Angers the city of "eating well", and a sensory emulation takes hold of the city to highlight artisans and producers committed to passionate, gourmet and sustainable cuisine.

For its 8th edition, the festival offers a culinary stroll from field to plate. A hundred or so partners have put together over 80 events, for 10 intense days of discoveries, encounters, tastings and moments of sharing around our local food.

The Food'Angers festival is for everyone!

> For heritage lovers, the 2024 festival pays tribute to the recent Unesco designation of the Apocalypse Tapestry, with a series of tasty events evoking our famous tapestries housed in the Château d'Angers and the Musée Jean Lurçat et de la tapisserie contemporaine.

> Wine aficionados, the festival invites you to its "Cavardages" - or cellar chats - the festival's roving wine café, which welcomes you in turn to our wine shops, cafés, wine bars, restaurants... to discuss our wines and spirits.

> Lovers of taste and discovery, the festival takes you to our local producers and food artisans, many of whom open their doors to you for gourmet events.


From vine pruning workshops to salmon smoking, from vegetable hunts to fruit station visits, from exceptional dinners to exploratory afterworks, from patisserie to geo-poly-sensory tastings, from conferences to Meurette parties, from masterclasses to Gouline competitions, from seed storytelling to fermentation workshops... etc... the festival awaits you. etc... the festival awaits you from February 02 to 11, and with it the whole world of Anjou gastronomy, to set your taste buds abuzz!
