The Loire Valley, listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, is the 3rd largest wine-producing region in France. Its 68 AOC (Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée) wines range from red wine
to rosé wine to dry or sweet, still or sparkling white wines that all have a distinctive personality and are all fresh, lively and elegant.
The quality, wealth and diversity of this wine-growing region justify the organisation of the Loire Valley Wine Trade Fair each year in Angers. It is a key event for some 10,000 buyerswho come from all over the world
to meet the 600 exhibitors : viticulturists, co-operative wine cellars and merchants who represent the most comprehensive offer of Loire Valley Wines.
The only European show dedicated to a single wine-growing region, the 2008 Loire Valley Wine Trade Fair is pursuing its role as a business and trade venue with an ambitious line-up, the guiding line behind which is based on a strong economic message, with the will to encourage and increasingly simplify trade exchanges between the sector's players.
